It softens the water, removes grease, dirt and lipstick residue from the glass and is also biodegradable. The advantage of using solid rinsing tablets over liquid agents is that the tablet is in the pre-rinse area and ensures the constant release of the cleaning concentrate for 6-8 hours, whereas liquid agents are washed away prematurely due to the water circulation and therefore become ineffective.
